A Green Leaf Controversy

Are we getting the best investment?
Reading an off beat college town newspaper, stirred the room to frustration as we began to comment on the reading of the article about our new 2011 economy. Employees in the middle wage bracket are still not doing the most suffering, but honestly, what does the high unemployment tell you, and when they start to suffer, well now the poor too, with funding getting cut to their needed programs and middle class getting taxed more as the rich don't cut their spending, but their taxes and hire less of us and more in other countries.
Damn it, that makes us mad, like it did when we read about more new LEAF cars by NISSAN going to Japan for higher prices than staying here where we need them too. People are still on the waiting list who've ordered them. Come on now. We need them all over the world, agreed, but let's get them to the people here who ordered them too. Are the companies getting more money than here? Don't know if that is bad or good, we could afford them if the workers got paid here instead of there.
Even we are guilty of wanting higher wages and great big huge companies are just trying to save a dime like me and you, yeah if less went into corporate pockets. Let's not even get started on that. When we like the bargain shop, not realizing that the companies can't make any money to pay me if we don't pay more for what they offer, a vicious circle, cause if they pay us less, it is things of less value we could afford.
The obnoxious craziness of the actors and such, the rich and such, their unreasonable prices for stuff, how do those costs come down? We are not economists or high enough up on the financial chain to have a freaking clue what to do about it. Stocks and bonds our savings should be, millions of articles to go back and double check the best investments.
Now completely fed up we'll just throw that piece of newspaper into the fire. Dang it.
Does it really matter anyway, seems like no matter how hard we try to get around it, this is the type of life we have chosen and there IS no getting around it. Still, with the thoughts of this morning, going back to an old job for a couple days a week, or signing up for unemployment and learning more about computers and offices cause that's where more money is, some say.
What we really want is our own little sort of business making us lots of money instead. We guess, bottom line what always gets us started is the wanting, needing, expecting more money.
We'll never reach our big goals and dreams this way. But when we do go out working we forget what it is for and get consumed in that way of living and start serving the workplace family instead of the separate needs of our family business. Back to the drawing board as the controversy continues to unravel.

Really? .........corporate pockets? What a few million to a handful that direct and manage BILLIONS! Why not look at the true culprit? GOVERNMENT! Regulations, tax burdens and stupid laws! Not to mention union thugs running companies into the ground! I don't blame them! take all your business and jobs overseas to wake up the morons running this country!
